Rob Huffman

Rob Huffman is an experienced industry professional, operational strategist, and the owner of the Academy of Exterior Maintenance. With years of hands-on experience building and scaling successful service businesses, Rob founded the Academy with a clear, singular mission: to eliminate the guesswork for contractors and provide them with a direct blueprint for sustainable growth.

As a lead instructor, Rob bridges the gap between field technicality and high-level business execution. He doesn’t just teach the mechanics of elite exterior maintenance, pressure washing, and safety; he equips business owners with the exact marketing strategies, pricing structures, and systemized workflows needed to scale efficiently.

Known for his practical, straight-shooting, and deeply engaging training style, Rob is passionate about elevating industry standards. He treats every student’s business as if it were his own, ensuring they leave the Academy with the confidence, tools, and processes required to dominate their local markets and build highly profitable enterprises.

Josh Trees is the Owner of The Christmas Light Collective and WeHangChristmasLights.com, as well as the Co-Founder of CLIPA. He is a prominent figure who is deeply involved in the christmas light installation industry.

As an entrepreneur, systems builder, and brand developer with over 30 years of industry experience and multiple successful business exits under his belt, Josh has learned firsthand that hard work alone doesn’t scale—systems do. He specializes in helping service industry contractors level up through smarter marketing, stronger branding, and operational processes that actually deliver.

Josh is big on growth, unafraid of change, and even less afraid to tell you exactly what is holding your business back. While most people know him as fun, friendly, and outgoing, he is also straight to the point and just savage enough to get real results.

When he isn’t focused on business, Josh loves spending time outdoors with his family and friends.

Jeremy Kiefer

Jeremy is the owner of Clear Shine Maintenance, a full-service exterior cleaning company established in 1993. With years of hands-on experience in exterior cleaning, operations, customer service, and business development, he has built a reputation for practical leadership, quality service and real-world results. Jeremy previously served on the Advisory Board of Directors and as a National Instructor for the Pressure Washing Resource Association, where he helped teach contractors current cleaning methods, procedures, and industry standards. Known for his straightforward style and real-world perspective, he is passionate about helping others grow their business, raise their standards, and succeed in the cleaning industry.

John Tornabene

John along with his wife Kathy began Clean County Powerwashing in 1996 with some experience under his belt and initially served only the residential market, by offering power washing for the exterior of homes, driveways, fences, decks, patios, roofs and anything else that homeowners needed cleaned.

Today Clean County holds commercial cleaning contracts with numerous companies and property management firms, handling large properties and complexes. Their fleet includes multiple equipped trucks including multiple flatbed trucks hosting several power washing machines, hot water burners and water tanks.

John has been involved with so many Organizations along his path and now serves on the Board of Directors for New York State Parking and Transportation Association. John’s noted as always giving back to this industry and currently is known for his Parking Garage Classes. His knowledge of this niche is uncomparable to most.

Jim Prom

Hey guys, I’m Jim Prom, let me introduce myself. I am a husband, father and grandfather.
I started my building career in 1986 on Hilton Head Island, we were framing mansions. I missed the change of the seasons so we headed back to Minnesota with my wife Lisa kicking and screaming all the way. Hindsight being what it is we should have stayed in the south, but everything happens for a reason, right?
I worked for and became a foreman for a couple companies, building new construction and finally decided in 2000, I wanted to eat and go on vacation too, who can relate?
I started my own construction company and we built everything from a dog house to Minnesota mansions, much smaller than South Carolina, but still big.
In 2009 I first discovered roof cleaning and in 2012 I attended my first conference with SWS and have been a part of that group ever since.
I served as a Discover Softwash instructor, on the Pro Staff and even served for 2 years on the Board of Directors
I have been a coach and mentor since 2014 and began volunteering and helping others grow their businesses.
My construction background makes me a professional estimator and I have taught those techniques at many conferences and most recently helped Jamie Schmidt at the Back to Basics conference in Myrtle Beach 2026.
As far as exterior cleaning goes we can clean any surface from roof to curb and we specialize in Limestone Restoration.
My phone is always ringing with questions about mixology and technique. Many people ask me how to price large buildings as that is my background in construction.

Shawn Baker

Shawn is the owner of Baker SoftWash out of Statesville, North Carolina, where he specializes in roof cleaning and soft washing. He’s built his business through hands-on experience, learning what works and what doesn’t in the field and focusing on doing the job the right way the first time.

Shawn is passionate about helping others in the industry avoid costly mistakes and gain confidence in their process. He breaks down roof cleaning into simple, practical steps that contractors can actually apply in their own businesses.

In his training, Shawn focuses on real-world techniques, safety, and efficiency giving you the tools you need to clean roofs properly and run a more profitable operation.
